To access articles with "full text" availability, you can use the Filters below the search boxes to make sure you only see results with full text access. Click "Online full text."
Another useful tool is the "Date range" filter. Certain courses and subject areas may ask you to search within specific date ranges, so that you are researching and discussing more recent advancements in the field. You can choose to use one of the pre-set ranges, or set up a custom date range.

These filters are also available after you perform your search, below the search bar.
Your assignment may also require articles with specific content sections. While the HTML format of an article may provide you with a table of contents, you might have to scan through the article to make sure it has those specific areas to match your assignment needs. One limitation of the HTML version is that it often lacks the pictures--if an article mentions images or figures, you may need to switch to the PDF view to see those contents.
